New and affordable t-shirt and sweatshirt designs for the entire family to show their Valley Tiger spirit are available at https://valleyspirit.itemorder.com/sale. While all sales will be handled online, the Big Frog storefront is located in Rancho Peñasquitos - not too far from Valley. You can pick up your order directly to avoid shipping charges.

Digital Box Tops

All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit our school's earnings online. PTA General Association Meeting - Thursday, April 18, 5:30 p.m. on Zoom

Our final PTA General Association Meeting of the school year is scheduled to be held on April 18th at 5:30 PM via Zoom. Login information was emailed to members. (If you are not a member and would like to request the login information, or if you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to request the meeting minutes, please email us at valleypta@yahoo.com). At the meeting, we will elect our PTA Board for 2024-2025 and amend our current budget, so it is important to have as many members in attendance as possible. Please see below for the proposed board members for the 2024-2025 school year. We are still looking for members to serve as various committee and sub-committee chairs. If you are interested in one of these open positions, please contact valleypta@yahoo.com.

The 2024-2025 Valley Elementary PTA Board elections will be held at our Annual Meeting on April18, 2024 at 5:30 PM via Zoom. This year’s 2024 Nominating Committee has identified the following interested parties:

3rd V.P. Membership – Shannon Hughes

Treasurer – Becki Ward

Financial Secretary – Rebecca Hofstetter

Historian – Amy Chicas

Parliamentarian and Corresponding Secretary positions are appointed by the President, subject to ratification by the Board.

April is the Month of the Military Child - Thursday, April 25, 8 a.m.

Come join Valley students and staff in recognizing our military-connected students, staff and their family members at the April Character Assembly on Thursday, April 25 at 8 a.m. All active duty, reservist and veteran service members are invited to attend dressed in uniform or patriotic attire to represent your branch of service. We will have a special guest speaker and an Honor guard will do the posting of the colors. All Students, staff and anyone else attending the assembly is encouraged to wear purple on Thursday, April 25th to celebrate "Month of the Military Child."

STEAM Fair, Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Valley's 3rd Annual STEAM Fair is happening on Saturday April 27th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. New this year - a school-wide art showcase in the MPR! Come see your student's work, explore booths with hands-on science and art activities, win prizes and more! Our Scholastic BOGO Book Fair will also be open for families to shop. Can't wait to see you there!

Hello Valley families,

I’m Monica Landeros the 2023-2024 PTA president. This year marks my 10th year as a Valley Elementary parent. During my time here at Valley, I have been a PTA member, committee chair, and board member. I am a proud mother of three amazing children. My oldest son is a freshman at Poway High, my middle daughter is a 7th grader at Meadowbrook Middle School and my youngest son is a 3rd grader at Valley. I also work part-time as an instructional assistant and substitute teacher for the agriculture department at Poway High. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your leader and I vow to do my best!
