Ongoing Fundraisers at Valley
Many of the programs that your child will benefit from are funded directly from the PTA. These programs include assemblies, family nights, bus transportation for field trips, classroom supplies, playground equipment and much, much more. You can help with our ongoing, year-round collection programs. Thanks for your participation!
Box Tops - For every box top collected, Valley will receive $.10. Box Tops can be found on baking products, storage products (like Ziploc), many breakfast cereals, meals and snacks, household cleaning and office supplies. Just look for the clip and collect those pink rectangles and turn them in twice per year. This money is used to annually replenish playground equipment.
eScrip Fundraising Program
This is an easy, year-round fundraiser that you don’t have to buy anything you don’t want. You do need to register each year to keep current. Go online to www.escrip.com (Group ID – 137330590) and enter your email address if you have registered in the past. During the registration process you are asked to register grocery or drug store cards, and credit/debit cards that you use when you shop and dine out. When you use any of these registered cards with an eScrip merchant, they pay-it-forward by donating a percentage of your purchase amounts to your chosen organizations. Remember to use your cards for every purchase, shop with eScrip merchants and you will automatically earn money for your school or nonprofit.

Charleston Wrap Fundraiser - In August, catalogs and order forms come home with your child. Its a great opportunity to stock up on the years wrapping paper for birthdays and holidays. Other items sold are kitchen gadgets, cookie dough and other yummy treats. Lots of prizes and incentives will be awarded to the kids for any number of items sold.
Reach for the Stars Read-A-Thon - In October, join your child in making a commitment to read for at least 300 minutes. Students who get sponsors and earn pledges can put this money to helping purchase books for their classroom and themselves at the Fall Scholastic Book Fair.
