Valley Spirit Wear
New and affordable t-shirt and sweatshirt designs for the entire family to show their Valley Tiger spirit are available at https://valleyspirit.itemorder.com/sale. While all sales will be handled online, the Big Frog storefront is located in Rancho Peñasquitos - not too far from Valley. You can pick up your order directly to avoid shipping charges.
Digital Box Tops
All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit our school's earnings online. Valley's Annual Family Dance - Saturday, May 4, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
It's time for Valley's annual family dance! Last chance for $5 dance tickets for adults! They will be $10 at the door!! Valley students are FREE! The dance is this Saturday May 4th from 5-8 pm in the MPR and tickets include food, drink, games, craft, and face painting. Buy your tickets here by 5/2.
Scholastic BOGO Book Fair - ends May 3!
Our Spring Book Fair is until May 3rd. Students will have the opportunity to shop during their library time and we will open an hour after school daily (12:25-1:30 Tomorrow and 2:05-3:05 Friday ). Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 6-10!
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week from May 6th to 10th. This year’s theme is “Thanks for Bee-ing Amazing,” a testament to the unwavering commitment of our teachers and staff.
We have planned a week filled with delightful activities and delicious treats for our teachers and staff. However, we need your help to make this possible. We are seeking donations and volunteers to ensure the success of this week. Please sign up to contribute here.
Here’s how your child can participate in showing their appreciation:
Monday: Students can bring in a sweet treat or gift.
Tuesday: High five day! Encourage your child to give their teachers a high five.
Wednesday: Our annual flower sale for $1 will take place.
Thursday: Students can wear yellow and black to school for bee-themed photos.
Friday: Compliment day! Students can shower their teachers and staff with compliments.
We are excited about the upcoming celebrations and look forward to a week filled with fun and appreciation. Hello Valley families,
I’m Monica Landeros the 2023-2024 PTA president. This year marks my 10th year as a Valley Elementary parent. During my time here at Valley, I have been a PTA member, committee chair, and board member. I am a proud mother of three amazing children. My oldest son is a freshman at Poway High, my middle daughter is a 7th grader at Meadowbrook Middle School and my youngest son is a 3rd grader at Valley. I also work part-time as an instructional assistant and substitute teacher for the agriculture department at Poway High. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your leader and I vow to do my best!
